Oregon Council on Problem Gambling Executive Director Glenn Yamagata will be speaking at the iLead Youth Leadership Summit on March 7.
His session, “Building Your Financial Future: Investing Basics for Teens,” will introduce young people to key concepts in financial literacy, including saving, investing, and making informed financial decisions early in life.
The presentation is part of the OCPG Community Guardians Project, an initiative focused on equipping youth and community members with practical knowledge that supports healthy decision-making and long-term well-being.
Through this session, participants will learn foundational investing concepts, explore how financial choices shape future opportunities, and gain tools to begin thinking about their financial futures with confidence.
