Racism impacts social determinants of health — the conditions which affect where people are born, grow, live and age. Among so many other systemic issues, Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) experience higher rates of problem gambling.

At Oregon Council on Problem Gambling, we recognize our own need to do more to support BIPOC, and we especially support the black community in the immediate need for change in action against systemic racism.
